About Southern Catalyst Sdn Bhd (SCSB)
Southern Catalyst Sdn. Bhd. (SCSB) is a wholly owned subsidiary of MKD Kencana Sdn Bhd, operating under the Ministry of Finance (MOF), Malaysia. Established on January 25, 1960, the company was originally known as Teon Choon Realty Company Limited, which focusing on oil palm cultivation. Over the years, it has undergone several transitions, evolving into SCSB with a broader focus on plantation management and property development.
Our Business Operations
Oil Palm Plantation
SCSB maintains its long-standing presence in oil palm cultivation, contributing to Malaysia’s palm oil industry through responsible and efficient plantation management.
Property Development
SCSB is leading the transformation of Ladang Air Manis (LAM) in Sedenak, Kulai, Johor, into an Industrial Mixed Development. This development spans 2,940.8 acres and is designed to support High-Tech Manufacturing with certain focus on Agri-Tech and Food-Tech sectors.
The project will be developed in phases, comprising:
- 60% Industrial
- 30% Residential
- 10% Commercial
By integrating industrial growth with sustainable development, SCSB aims to create long-term value while contributing to regional economic progress.
